Action Electric is a family-owned and family-oriented business. Our mission is to provide quality professional services that meet our customers' needs. In doing so, we will not up-sell, or create a need to bolster the cost of the job.
Who We Are
Action Electric was dropped into my mind while sitting at a red light, in 1990, and we began our operation in 1998. Kenny Kennedy is our Master Electrician. He began his career in the electrical trade in 1988 and worked on many projects in Lubbock and the surrounding areas, which are still going strong. A small sampling of Kenny’s work includes: Outback Steakhouse, Cheddars, Casa Ole, Ashmore Inn, Old Navy, and many retail stores in the Mall, including the Water Fountain. He also did several medical facilities including a new floor at Covenant Lakeside, the first MRI machine for St Mary's Hospital, and many stand-alone clinics throughout Lubbock, Littlefield, Levelland, Lamesa, and Plainview.
Our Projects
Commercial
Recently Action Electric has several Lubbock firsts under their belt including Hook N’ Reel, Dutch Bros Coffee, and Circle K stores. We have also been a partner in the remodel of 20 Allsup’s convenience stores throughout West Texas, the Panhandle, and the Dallas area. Our commercial work includes the following businesses and organizations: HTeaO, Renew Dental, Starbucks, Church on the Rock, Pilgrim Baptist Church, Edwards Jones, All Hales Meats, True Value, Lubbock Vascular Clinic, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, and many more. Additionally, we are proud to have service agreements with the City of Lubbock, Lubbock Airport, Warren Cat, and Jarvis Metals.
Residential
Action Electric is very busy with residential work as well, doing custom and spec homes for Lubbock Home Builders. We are also proud of the Barndominiums, shops, and additions we have done throughout the area. Residential service work is an area we thrive in, adding outlets, troubleshooting, repairing lighting fixtures, and upgrading panels.
Our Energy Options
Action Electric has partnered with Rise Solar so that we can now be a part of your alternative energy solutions. We have solar systems, whole-house generators, backup battery systems, and many other options. Our mission is to not only be your trusted electrician but to be a source of information and confidence in all your electrical and energy needs.
Our Business
Action Electric is our business, but it is also our Ministry. We give God the glory in making Action Electric successful and bringing a team together that operates knowing that each job and every interaction with our customers are an opportunities to express His place in our lives.
